Description
BROMVUE EYE DROPS contains Bromfenac which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used in adults for the treatment of postoperative inflammation and reduction of postoperative eye pain in patients who have undergone cataract surgery.
Cataract can be defined as a condition in which the lens of the eye becomes progressively opaque or cloudy. Symptoms include blurred vision, sensitivity to light/glare, poor night vision, seeing halo around lights and double vision.
BROMVUE EYE DROPS should be used with caution in patients having bleeding problems (Ex. haemophilia), rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, eye problems (Ex. dry eye syndrome, corneal problems, repeated eye surgery in a short time). Do not wear contact lenses while using the medicine.
BROMVUE EYE DROPS should not be used during the last three months of pregnancy and your doctor may advice you to use this medicine only if needed. It can be used in breast-feeding women.
BROMVUE EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. There is no evidence of safety for BROMVUE EYE DROPS in elderly patients above 65 years of age. Consult your doctor before using it.
The most common side effects of using BROMVUE EYE DROPS are increased sensitivity of eyes to light, eye pain and blurred vision. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
