ACILOC S SUSPENSION is a combination of Magaldrate, Oxetacaine and Simethicone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antacid, Local Anesthetic and Anti-flatulence respectively. It is used for the treatment of acidity, heartburn, gas and stomach ulcers. The stomach is generally protected from acid by a mucous layer.
In some cases, due to excess production of acid, the mucous layer gets eroded, which leads to problems like acidity and heartburn. Bloating occurs when the abdomen is filled with air or gas. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption while taking ACILOC S SUSPENSION as it leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.
ACILOC S SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with hepatic and renal impairments. ACILOC S SUSPENSION is not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. ACILOC S SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in children and it should be used with caution in elderly patients. The most common side effects of taking ACILOC S SUSPENSION are nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea and dry mouth. Consult your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse or persist.
