D FAX 50 contain desvenlafaxine which belongs to a group of medicine called SNRIs (serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors). It is used to treat depression. This medicine works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers such as serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain that help maintain mental balance.

Always take D FAX 50 exactly as your doctor has told you. This medicine must be taken with or without food. It should be swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. This medicine is strictly not recommended for use in children and adolescents. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, sweating, dizziness, insomnia, constipation, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, anxiety, decreased sex drive, delayed orgasm, and ejaculation.
